Budding player Mamadou Sylla joins Almeria Academy

The 18-year-old footballer moves as a free agent player from Aston Villa Youth and signs a four-season deal

Budding player Mamadou Sylla joins the UD Almería Academy from Aston Villa Youth. The young footballer plays defensive midfielder, although his versatility allows him to also operate as a central defender too. The 18-year-old player of Guinean descent was born on 26 January, 2003 in Barcelona. He took his first step in football at Granollers and also played for other Catalan teams before moving to England in 2015. 

He put in some brilliant performances during his time at the Aston Villa Youth, eventually making his debut for the Aston Villa U23. The Barcelona-born footballer now arrives at the UD Almería Academy committing his future to the Rojiblancos Club following 4-year contract.
