Bruno Langa to go on international duty with Mozambique squad
The UD Almería left-back has been called up by his national team to play two qualifying matches for the 2026 World Cup. The Rojiblanco is travelling after the match against Real Zaragoza on Saturday and will be absent in Burgos
UD Almería left-back Bruno Langa has been called up by the Mozambique squad in order to play two qualifying matches for the 2026 World Cup that will take place in the United States, Mexico and Canada. The footballer will leave after the league match against Real Zaragoza this Saturday, and will return the week in which the team host Levante UD on Saturday, 29 March. He will miss the match in Burgos on 21 Friday. The Mozambique national team, with Bruno Langa as a key players, will have to play two qualifying matches for the World Cup.
The first of these will be at home against Uganda on Thursday, 20 March, and then in Algeria on 25 Tuesday, March. The Mozambicans are in Group G of the World Cup qualification along with Guinea, Somalia, Botswana, Uganda and Algeria. The Algerians and Mozambique share the lead and only the winner will make it to the World Cup. The second has the option of entering a play-off.
The four remaining knockout rounds take place in September and October of this year.
