Bruno Iribarne handed Spain U19 call-up
The UEFA U19 Championship will be held in Malta from 3rd to 16th July with Spain U19 as one of the favorites who will go all out to clinch their 9th title
UD Almería U19 'A' goalkeeper Bruno Iribarne has been called up to the Spain U19 squad to play in the UEFA U19 Championship in Malta José Lana, the Under-19s national coach has considered that the Almeria-born keeper should compete in the final stage of this European tournament.
Spain U19 are in Group B together with Iceland U19, Norway U19 and Greece U19. Their next games will be played on 4th July against Iceland U19 at 9:15pm. Next, they will face Greece U19 at 6pm on 7th July, and the youngsters will wrap up the group stage against Norway U19 on 10th July (KO 9pm Spanish Time).
The top two in each group will progress to the semi-finals. Bruno Iribarne will be between the sticks in these matches, the Rojiblanco goalie has staged a sensational season, he was present in the Élite round where Spain obtained a stab to play the final phase and now he is going to play the European U19 Championship.
The Spanish U19 travelling squad will head to Barcelona this Friday to catch a flight to Malta on Saturday.
