Bruno Iribarne and Marcos Peña compete for Spanish Youth Academy football awards 2024

Both the goalkeeper and the Almería-born midfielder have entered the first football Draft selection along with players with the likes of Lamine Yamal, Pau Cubarsí, Cristhian Mosquera, Marc Guiu or Samuel Omorodion

UD Almería 'B' youngsters Bruno Iribarne and Marcos Peñas, with the Almería-born training regularly with the first team, are competing for the Spanish Youth Academy football awards 2024. In fact, they have entered the first football Draft selection that since 2006, it has chosen the best national promises. 

Well-known players such as Sergio Ramos, Gerard Piqué, Juan Mata, Álvaro Morata, David Silva, Ferran Torres, Pedri... have received these awards that are given each year according to positions. The Futbol Draft® Technical Committee is made up of all the team selectors from the Spanish Football Federation in the lower ranks, as well as by recognised experts in youth football and members of the main Spanish football institutions (RFEF, LaLiga, AFE, CSD and AEAF). 

The first selection 2024 has chosen 77 players, although over the next few months the list will be reduced. At the moment, goalkeeper Bruno Iribarne and left midfielder Marcos Peña have been nominated. The election focuses on players born between 2004 and 2007. Together with the players from UD Almería 'B' Lamine Yamal, Pau Cubarsí, Cristhian Mosquera, Marc Guiu or Samuel Omorodion have been named in the first list.
