Brian Rodríguez: ‘I want to help Almería to move up to the top flight’

The Uruguayan highlights that he can bring fast speed and dribbling ability to the Rojiblancos attack

Brian Rodríguez is officially onboard! The right-winger was the latest guest to speak as a new UD Almería player after accomplishing his first training session along with the squad, a factor that has made him feel ‘great.’ During his friendly chat with the club’s official media, he commented: ’I’ve already been able to train with the team, which is what I wanted, so I’m now available to the head coach. I'm really looking forward to Sunday.’

The Uruguayan footballer pointed out that his main goal within the Rojiblancos club is ‘to help Almería move up to Primera Division, which is everyone's goal.’ In addition, on a personal level, he is eager to ‘continue growing as a pro footballer.’

The 20-year-old right-winger confirmed that the squad met his expectations when he first arrived at the club since his new team-mates were ‘very welcoming.’ The Tranqueras-born footballer player claims to be able to bring ‘fast speed and dribbling ability’ to the table.

Brian Rodríguez, who has a good friendship with former Almeria striker Darwin Núñez, has acknowledged that his compatriot has been ‘one of the reasons’ to help him decide to accept the UD Almería’s offer. In the same way, he indicated that both Cristian Olivera and Juan Gutiérrez will definitely lend a helping hand over his settling-in process soon.
