Barbero gets back to his roots and reinforces Almeria’s attack

The striker returns to his team and his homeland. He has already trained with the UD Almeria first squad

It seems that Iván Barbero has booked a return ticket; because the footballer returns home to reinforce the rojiblanco’s attack until the end of the season. UD Almeria have agreed a deal to sign Barbero on loan from Osasuna with option to buy the player. He used to play for UD Almeria and after three seasons, the striker comes back with much more experience and knowledge. He is ambitious for his homeland’s football team and is determined to help the side to climb up into First Division. Barbero has been one of the best players in Osasuna Promesas who scored 10 goals in Second Division B. He treasures a powerful ability in aerial duels and he is a strong forward who can also play as a striker in the front line. In addition, Barbero is 21 years old and the fact that he is returning to his Club and his hometown is guaranteed motivation and commitment in this final stretch of the championship.

As soon as his signing was made official, he has passed the medical test and has took part in his first training as a rojiblanco player this season. Today’s practice, after the double training session last Wednesday focused on offensive and defensive drills. José María Gutiérrez wants to put all these concepts into practice at the Pajaritos de Soria Stadium. Once again, it was a foggy day in the Anexo training ground.
