The Rojiblancos have a long week ahead as they will not play in Elche until next Monday, 22 August
The UD Almería squad return to training this Monday (10 am CEST) at the training base Anexo, to perform an active recovery session following the demanding first fixture of the 2022/23 season played against Real Madrid CF. They will be given Tuesday off to rest their bodies and minds. The players will get back to training on Wednesday, again at the Anexo training ground (9:45am).
It will be time to think about next adversaries Elche CF, although the appointment at the Martínez Valero Stadium will not be until Monday, 22 August, so UD Almería have a long week ahead of them, a period of time in which it is expected that new players can be registered so that head coach Rubi has more options in the squad.
It must be taken into account that last two signings Pacheco and Léo Baptistão could not play against Real Madrid CF, nor could players like Mendes, Pozo or César de la Hoz…many absentees for a tremendously demanding competition.
