Baba says goodbye to the season

He underwent surgery this past Tuesday for appendicitis. He was named in last night's game and in the previous one he played a few minutes in Vallecas. Squad list for match against Barça, this Thursday

UD Almería midfielder Iddrisu Baba says goodbye to the season with three games left due to an appendix issue and he had to undergo surgery this past Tuesday in Córdoba. The footballer is now at home resting in Almería and logically, he will not be able to play the remaining matches until the end of LaLiga EA Sports.

The Ghanaian footballer had been experiencing discomfort in the lower part of his abdomen and in addition to being observed by the Club's medical services, who subjected him to various tests, other professionals were also consulted without being diagnosed with a problem in his appendix. The player trained and was included in the team's team roster.

In fact, he headed to Seville with the UD Almería to Seville last Sunday for the match against Betis and a week before he played a few minutes in Vallecas. Last Monday, after the game at the Benito Villamarín stadium, he travelled with the head of the Club's medical services to Córdoba, where he had a medical appointment who recommended surgery to remove his appendix.

For this Thursday's game against FC Barcelona, Ramazani will also be ruled out, due to suspension, and possibly Radovanović, who although he trains with the group has just recovered from a muscle injury that has kept him on the treatment table for just over one month.

On the contrary, Pepe Mel will be able to count on César Montes again after serving the game suspension due to accumulation of yellow cards. The UD Almería head coach will announce the squad list at noon this Thursday when the squad carries out a pre-match warm up at the Power Horse Stadium before the team get-together.
