Head coach Alberto Lasarte remains cautious despite his team's narrow 3-2 defeat to Extremadura, highlighting the need for improvement but stressing that there is no need to overreact: 'Although we lost to Recreativo de Huelva, we can’t get carried away because they’re one of the strongest teams in the division. We need to pick up points quickly, which is why there will be changes,' Mr Lasarte explained on UDA Radio.

Meanwhile, the UD Almería 'B' gaffer also anticipates an exciting encounter, predicting an open game with both sides eager to play attacking football. He added: 'It’ll be a lively match with two teams looking to score.'

Mr Lasarte highlighted the importance of clinical finishing in both penalty areas, noting that familiarity between the two sides will make for an intriguing contest. 'We know each other well,' he said, praising Málaga CF’s youth system, which continues to produce top talent. 'While they maintain much of their core from last season, we’ve undergone significant changes and need time to adjust,' he concluded.
