Arvin Appiah loaned out to CD Nacional de Madeira

The winger, who began the pre-season with UD Almería, will play for the Portuguese top-tier team until the end of the 2024/25 campaign

UD Almería right-winger Arvin Appiah will play on loan until the end of the 2024/25 season at CD Nacional de Madeira, a team that returned to the top tier of Portuguese football last season. The agreement was closed this Tuesday between both clubs and the footballer, who will be shipped out again.

Appiah began the preparation period with the Rojiblancos, although he did not later travel to the training camp in Marbella because his loan to the Portuguese side was complete.

The right-winger, who has dual Dutch and British nationality, is 23 years old and since the 2019/20 season belonged to UD Almería, with whom he has played 62 games in the Segunda Division and Spanish Cup. Throughout these years he has been on loan to several clubs, such as Lugo, Tenerife, Málaga and English team Rotherham.

Appiah has a contract with UD Almería until June 2026. The Club wishes him the best of luck in this new journey to Portugal.
