Sergio Arribas celebrates 100 UD Almería matches
The Andalusian Club acknowledges the 24-year-old midfielder with a framed UD Almería jersey and two special photographs to mark milestone
Sergio Arribas was celebrated by UD Almería before their match against Burgos CF, honouring his impressive achievement of 100 UD Almería appearances. The 24-year-old midfielder, who joined the Rojiblancos in the 2023/24 season, was presented with a framed jersey by Club Managing Director Mohamed El Assy. The jersey displayed the number of matches he has played for UD Almería, along with two special photographs: one from his debut against Rayo Vallecano in the 2023/24 season opener, and another from his 100th appearance, where he scored a brilliant brace in Andorra.
Arribas, now in his 3rd season with the Andalusian Club, has quickly become a key figure in UD Almería’s midfield. After joining from Real Madrid CF in the summer of 2023, he made an immediate impact, scoring the opening goal against the Merengues on his league debut. In his first season, he made 36 appearances, scoring 9 goals and registering 4 assists across LaLiga and the Spanish Cup.
In the 2024/25 season, the 24-year-old continued to impress, featuring in 41 league matches, 2 play-off games for promotion and 3 Spanish Cup ties. He again netted 9 goals and provided 3 assists.
This season, in 2025/26, Arribas has started every LaLiga Hypermotion match, playing in all 19 fixtures, including the Spanish Cup second-round tie against CD Eldense. So far, he has scored 9 goals and added 5 assists, further solidifying his role as a key contributor to the team’s attack.
