Around 200 UD Almería travelling fans visit San Mamés in Bilbao

Most of the Rojiblancos' fans travelled from Almería city by plane and coach

Around 200 UD Almería travelling supporters gathered this Friday night at the San Mamés Stadium to witness the match against Athletic Club de Bilbao and cheer on the UD Almería first-team in this daunting trip to face rivals who are sitting in the Champions League zone. Most of them set out on their journey from Almería city by plane, some others also travelled by train and even by coach. There were also UD Almería travelling fans heading northward from other nearby regions and cieties.

Navarra-born Eguaras and Cantabria native co-captain César de la Hoz enjoyed the enthusiastic support of family and friends. Since the UD Almería travelling squad arrived in Bilbao at noon on Friday, the we excited fans were already seen outside the team's hotel, and although the weather was unpleasant, the Rojiblancos' supporters did not hesitate to cheer on the team across the streets of Bilbao city for many hours before the start of the game, while they were on a sightseeing tour.
