The former Manchester United Academy player leaves as a free agent after making 162 appearances, scoring 14 goals and helping the Club secure promotion to LaLiga
Arnau Puigmal has officially brought his time at UD Almería to an end after his contract expired, with the 25-year-old leaving the Club as a free agent following 5 seasons as a Rojiblanco.
The Barcelona-born midfielder joined UD Almería ahead of the 2021/22 campaign from Manchester United Academy and played an important role in the Club's promotion to LaLiga EA Sports in his first season.
During his 5-year spell, interrupted only by a short loan move to Elche CF during the 2023 January transfer window, Puigmal made 162 appearances in all competitions, scoring 14 goals and producing 14 assists. 33 of those appearances came in Spain's top flight.
A versatile player capable of featuring as a right winger, full-back or in central attacking positions, Puigmal consistently demonstrated both his footballing quality and his professionalism throughout his time at the Club.
UD Almería would like to thank Arnau Puigmal for his total commitment, dedication and exemplary attitude over the past 5 seasons and wish him every success in the next chapter of his footballing career.
