Arnau Puigmal clocks up century of UD Almería games

The 24-year-old versatile footballer, who is in his 4th season in the Club, played his 100th fixture against Sporting de Gijón at the El Molinón-Enrique Castro 'Quini' Stadium

Arnau Puigmal has played 100 games wearing the UD Almería jersey. His 100th game saw him playing away to Real Sporting de Gijón in at the El Molinón-Enrique Castro 'Quini' stadium. It was his 30th appearance this season: 26 in the league and 4 in the Spanish Cup. 
 
So far, the 24-year-old has netted 3 goals and produced as many assists. The versatile footballer, who was born in Barcelona on 10th January, 2001, has spent four seasons at UD Almería. 
 
Moving from Premier League side Manchester United, he signed for UD Almería in the 2021/22 campaign in which he played a great role. It was the promotion campaign to the top flight and he played 33 league fixtures, with 5 goals and 4 assists, and also featured in a Spanish Cup tie. In 2022/23, in the top tier of Spanish football, he was lined up in 23 games, 22 in the league (scoring 1 goal) and 1 in the Cup tournament. The following 2023/24 season, the Barcelona native was kitted out 11 times in the top division and then, in the January transfer window, he was loaned out to Elche CF.
