Aridane and Nelson Monte make return to UD Almería squad for Valladolid clash

Centre-backs back in action for Rubi’s side ahead of Saturday’s trip to José Zorrilla Stadium

UD Almería head coach Rubi has welcomed back two key centre-backs to his squad for this weekend’s LaLiga fixture against Real Valladolid CF. Aridane, who has recently joined from UD Las Palmas and Nelson Monte, who has fully recovered from a pre-season injury, are set to feature in Saturday’s match at the José Zorrilla Stadium.

Aridane’s return bolsters the defensive line, while Monte’s recovery provides further depth after an injury setback in early August. Meanwhile, international players Dzodic, Perovic, and Bruno have also made the trip, although a few notable absentees remain.

Chumi is sidelined with injury, Lopy serves a suspension following his red card against Racing Santander, and both Soko and Baba are excluded due to minor discomforts.

The squad completed their final training session behind closed doors on Friday afternoon and will travel to Valladolid on Matchday.
