Appiah seals loan exit for CD Lugo until the end of current season

The right-winger and both clubs have reached an agreement. He will return to UD Almeria once the 2020/21 campaign is over

UD Almeria right-winger Arvin Appiah heads to second-tier CD Lugo on loan until the end of the current season. The young attacking player has sealed a loan move to the Northern side.  After his loan spell, Appiah will return to the Rojiblancos club since he still has a contract with his parent club until June 2024.

The 20-year-old exits on a temporary basis to be given more game-time in the second tier of Spanish football because UD Almería have full confidence in his limitless potential and significant contributions to the team in the future.

Bear in mind that in the last pre-season, he had a stomach issue that forced him into the treatment table. However, he has been making progress and showing his great qualities starting in two Copa del Rey contests played against Hospitalet and Osasuna, in addition to scoring a goal in the first of them, and in the league fixture against Sabadell in the minutes he was lined up.
