Almeria youngsters to host Real Jaen and make up for the loss of points

The Rojiblancos will do whatever lies on their power to ensure victory and stay in the spots that give access to the ‘mini-league for promotion’

The UD Almería ‘B’ young boys seek to make up for the last disappointing defeat against Atlético de Porcuna, after which they lost the top spot in the Group IX ‘A’ table. They are now eager to beat Real Jaén in Sunday’s match at the Anexo Juegos Mediterraneos (kick-off 12:00 p.m. CET).

The homegrown players are keenly aware that there is no room for mistakes in the race to enter the mini-league for promotion to the Segunda Division RFEF, and thus, the Rojiblancos have been working hard during the week in order to correct those errors that resulted in defeat last weekend.

Fernando Santos ‘Nandinho’, who will not announce the squad list in advance, can count on Fermín for the meeting as well as Ricardo Carvalho and Sergio Sanchís, who have served their respective suspensions. This time around, there will not be as many absentees as before within the Academy second team.

The match will be played behind closed doors due to the measures adopted that remain active in sports facilities to stop the spread of Covid-19, however, Footters will livestream the exciting match.
