Almería Women will do whatever lies in their power to ensure first victory against CD Castuera

The Rojiblancas return to the competition with the idea of keeping up the good work after playing Betis ‘B’ and Badajoz

The UD Almería Women's squad, who could not play last weekend due to the suspension of the league fixture against Santa Teresa ‘B’, are back again in the thick of action within group IV within the Primera Nacional league with the firm intention of ensuring their first league win by keeping up the good work displayed against Real Betis ‘B’ and Badajoz.

The Rojiblancas host CD Castuera at 12:00 noon on Sunday, and Constantino Cortés will be the battlefield for this new encounter. Badajoz Women will get to Almeria without any wins in their pocket, although it is true that they had opportunities during their commitments to have achieved better results.

UD Almería Women have been working hard during the week. After having the weekend off due to the suspension of their previous appointment, the girls resumed training wholeheartedly focused on brushing up on the technical and tactical concepts that could allow them to defeat their rivals.

Getting all three points would be essential for the Rojiblancas given that they gained momentum away from the foot of the table. It is worth highlighting that the football players coached by Álvaro García Búrdalo are a couple of matchdays behind without contesting - against La Rambla and Santa Teresa ‘B’ - that will take place in December.

The match between UD Almería Women and CD Castuera will be played behind closed doors due to current, appropriate measures adopted to prevent the spread of Covid-19. The matchday 6 kick-off time is set for 12:00 noon on Sunday when the ball will start rolling.
