Almería Women visit La Rambla with the aim of getting out of relegation zone

The Rojiblancas are one point from safety on a four-game unbeaten run

The UD Almería Women's squad visit La Rambla this Saturday (kick-off 4 p.m. CET) with the aim of getting out of the relegation slots despite being on a four-game unbeaten run. The Cordoba-based team lie seventh in the competition.

The Indálicas managed to share the spoils with Sporting de Huelva ‘B’ in the last minutes of their last fixture, so they started the second half of the championship, extending their unbeaten run. Despite the girls led by Agustín Sánchez took a share of the points three times and clinched one victory over the last month, those results were not enough to escape the drop zone, because their direct rivals got their job done.

The Rojiblancas coach spoke to the club's official media and stressed that the Almería Women squad ‘go into the game with great confidence’ to be able to display a good performance when taking on La Rambla. ‘We’re on a good run, but we haven’t got out of there yet. We have to go all out for a win in Córdoba to achieve the result that will make us feel a bit relieved,’ added the coach.

With a point behind tenth-placed CD Castuera, who are dangling above the drop zone, UD Almería Women face Matchday 15 competing in the Primera Nacional women's league (Group IV) against La Rambla Women at 4:00 p.m. (CET) on Saturday at the Alfonso Cabello pitch.
