Almería Women to play first reverse fixture, a top-of-the-table clash

The Rojiblancas visit Olympia Las Rozas this Sunday at 5pm (Spain Time) with the possibility of closing out 2021 in an automatic promotion position

UD Almeria Women will close out the year 2021 with a top-of-the-table clash against direct rivals Olympia Las Rozas which will be the first reverse fixture. The Indalicas will go all out for a win in a bid to make it to the new higher tier created by the RFEF between the Primera Nacional and LaLiga Reto. The meeting takes place at 5pm this Sunday at the Las Rozas Fairgrounds and the winning team will spend Christmas in an automatic promotion position. It will undoubtedly be a great match between two teams separated by a single point in the table.

The Rojiblancas have the excellent possibility of getting ahead of the Madrid-based side with a better goal average. Almería Women will go into the match after defeating CP San Miguel and placed in third position, which could mean automatic promotion if that place obtains the best records of all the Primera Nacional groups. For their part, Olympia Las Rozas sit fifth, although, only one point below the Indálicas.

Fatima will not be able to be part of the starting XI due to accumulation of yellow cards. The presence of some other team members will be unknown until the last minute. Meanwhile, head coach Álvaro García Búrdalo commented in an interview on UDA Radio that the group are displaying a high level of performance week after week and all the footballers have proven to be key throughout the season thanks to their brilliant teamwork.
