Almería Women looking to take another huge leap forward in the table
The Rojiblancas visit neighbours Málaga Women ‘B’ with the exciting possibility of reaching a mid-table position and stay up
After two much-needed back-to-back victories before last weekend’s break, the UD Almería Women's team visit Málaga CF Women ‘B’ on Sunday (kick-off 5,00 p.m. CEST). The Indálicas are looking to take another huge leap forward in the table standings that will help them approach the middle of the table.
The footballers led by Agustín Sánchez achieved a 0-2 victory over CD Casturera the last time they were in action and following that win, the Rojiblancas now have to assume responsibility to achieve their objective of staying up this season.
The Almería Women outfit are keenly aware that the championship will soon be drawing to a close and they do not want to break their concentration so as not to see themselves in a dangerous situation. Left-back Esther Pascual highlighted on UDA Radio: ‘Every game until the end of the season is decisive. They’re finals that must be won with great enthusiasm, enormous strength and with all of us united.’
Málaga CF Women ‘B’ occupy the eighth position five points over UD Almeria Women at the moment. As a result, this imminent match has been labelled as vital. It will be at 5:00 p.m. (CEST) on Sunday when the ball will start rolling on the José Gallardo pitch. Fans and supporters have the possibility to follow the game as it will be livestreamed on the website of the Andalusian Football Federation (RFAF) TV.
