Almería Women look to extend positive streak against unbeatable Málaga CF Women

The Rojiblancas host the current league leaders at the Emilio Campra this Saturday (KO 5pm Spain Time)

UD Almería Women are about to take on Primera Nacional (Group IV) leaders Malaga CF Women. After Almeria Women won last weekend’s derby over La Cañada, Álvaro García Burdalo’s girls are now looking to continue adding three points at a time in a difficult match that will be played at the Emilio Campra Youth Stadium this Saturday (kick-off 5pm Spain Time).

The Rojiblancas can take advantage of a new great opportunity to keep up the pace at the top of the table. It will not be easy at all since they will be welcoming the only team that have won all their games this season so far. On a positive note, Almeria Women sit third in standings so they feel strongly optimistic ahead of an encounter that will surely be a stern test. In fact, winning would be the key to not losing sight of the automatic  promotion positions, which right now Málaga CF and Badajoz hold.

UD Almería forward Fatima acknowledged that they know that neighbours ‘are very tough rivals’, however she also stated that they have clear ideas for Saturday's fixture. In addition, regarding the good run of results in the campaign, the Rojiblanca player has admitted that the key has been ‘to be united since the beginning of the season.’

Indalicas’ Head coach Álvaro García Burdalo will not reveal the teamsheet yet, although it has been confirmed that Ani will miss out, who has recently had surgery after rupturing of the cruciate ligament and the medial and lateral menisci.

Fans will be able to attend the UD Almería Women vs Málaga CF Women game for free until the Emilio Campra Youth Stadium is filled to capacity.
