Almería Women get back into ‘Primera Nacional’ action welcoming Cádiz Women

The Andalusian derby takes place this Saturday and fans will be able to access for free one hour before the kick-off set for 4:30pm (Spain Time)

After last weekend’s break, UD Almería Women are getting back into Primera Nacional action with the visit of Cádiz CF Women to the Emilio Campra Youth Stadium in Almeria. The supporters will be able to access for free one hour before the kick-off set for 4:30pm (Spain Time).

The attendees must wear a face mask at all times and be aware that smoking, eating and drinking, with the exception of water, is not allowed. Likewise, spectators must always remain seated and may only get up to go to the toilets.

UD Almería Women and Cádiz CF Women will go into the game level on points (3). Despite the fact that the visitors have won twice, the RFEF Competition Committee sanctioned them with the loss of the first Matchday following an incorrect line-up. Nevertheless, the Andalusian derbies between these two sides have always been characterised by being highly contested and it is the small details that have traditionally been fundamental to winning.

For UD Almería Women, Saturday’s fixture will give them the opportunity to play as hosts again, since they have not done so since the first match week of the championship in which they beat Olympia Las Rozas (1-0). After that, the Indálicas had to make two trips in which they were unfortunately defeated even though they deserved a better result. As a result, they have the chance to make up for the last losses with a win over their next rivals.

Head coach Agustín Sánchez will not reveal the squad list yet and all the players have been called up to the appointment at the Emilio Campra Youth Stadium. Jessi is the only player who will miss out as she has to serve a one-game ban.

The official UD Almeria Women Twitter account (@FemeninoUDA) will stream live the exciting match.
