Almería Women eager to start a winning streak in derby against Cádiz CF Women

The Rojiblancas lock horns with the Amarillas on Sunday (KO 5pm CET) in a highly competitive away game

UD Almería Women are to face the second consecutive league derby travelling to the Gaditanas’ home ground. It is highly likely to be a highly competitive match played by both sides. In fact, although the hosts did not start the championship on the right foot, at present they have done so well that they have become direct rivals of the Rojiblancas. The league appointment starts at 5pm (CET) this Sunday.

This encounter against the Amarillas is preceded by another Andalusian derby, against Granada CF ‘B’ Women in which the girls from the East coast notched up a narrow victory…so the Indálicas will go into the match with the real challenge of starting a new winning streak to remain in the VIP positions within the table.

This week’s training sessions required deep concentration as the girls are fully aware that avoiding mistakes will be decisive while small details will be fundamental in a bid to record another triumph.

Head coach Álvaro García Burdalo will not announce a squad list until the time of knowing the starting line-up for the game. It is worth highlighting that all the players will be available, except for Ani, who is still recovering from a long-term injury.
