Almería Women confirm a positive antigen test result within squad

The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has decided to rearrange the next match between UD Almería Women and Castuera CD following a positive Covid-19 antigen test result within the squad and therefore, the Club is waiting to receive the result of the PCR.
The national women's division Primera Nacional team were preparing themselves for the high-stakes football match that was meant to be played this Sunday with the firm intention of collecting all three points. A victory would serve as a stepping stone to safety avoiding the drop. The thing is that right after this positive antigen test result, the Club immediately reported to the RFEF, as the organiser of this championship. As a result, the decision to suspend Sunday’s fixture was made.
In the same way, UD Almería Women called off training sessions until the result of the PCR test is known.
