Almeria Women are playing home against Málaga CF on Sunday

Almeria Women are hosting the team sitting third in the table, after having already faced the leaders and runners-up. The meeting is taking place on Sunday in Benahadux at midday.

Almeria Women face a new challenge in Primera Nacional (First National), after facing the top two teams Betis B (45 points) and Cadiz (40 points) consecutively in the previous matchdays. This week it is time to host Málaga CF, who are currently occupying third position in the league standings. The game will be played on Sunday at 12 in the afternoon at the Jerónimo Rodríguez López ground in Benahadux.

The rojiblanco women team of the UDA Foundation continue in the 5th position in the table on 34 points. Almeria have not known defeat in the last six match weeks; they won four times and drew twice, one playing home against the leaders Betis B, and the second one visiting the runners-up’s stadium, Cádiz CF.

That said, the Almeria Women’s side are taking on a really tough team, Málaga CF ‘B’. They are very dangerous opponents but Almeria are optimistic about their chances of winning considering their good run. Their coach, Carlos Hinojo, has admitted that ‘we have competed very well in the last two weeks, and we think that this meeting is a great challenge to defeat a team who are in the top positions.’ In addition, as he added ‘we have the opportunity to exact a revenge on them for losing in their home soil before. It was very unfair.’
