Almería will host the Football Fan clubs National Congress in 2021
The Almeria’s project won more votes than the Sevillian ‘project: 21-14
Almeria will host the 18th Football Fan Club National Congress, which will bring together more than one thousand supporters and fans from many Spanish football clubs.
The decision has been made in Madrid between two nominations. One of the projects was presented by Sevilla FC and Real Betis Balompié. The rojiblanco project won a sweeping victory with 21 votes, while the Sevillian project won 14. In addition, there were two protest votes.
Mónica Ruiz, the Almeria’s Fan Club President presented a large informative dossier and a promotional video that had the support of the UD Almería’ CEO , Mohamed El Assy; several rojiblancos players; Ramón Fernández-Pacheco Monterreal, the Almeria City Mayor and Javier Aureliano García Molina, the president of the provincial government of the province of Almería (Diputacion de Almeria).
The Congress is taking place on 25-26-27 June. The Almeria Fan Club have already set to work in the organization of this event.
