Almería seek to taste victory again on the ‘Costa del Sol’

It has been three consecutive matchdays without winning and just two points picked up

The Rojiblancos seek to taste victory again this Tuesday on the ‘Costa del Sol’ (Matchday 32/ kick-off 7:30 p.m. Spain Time. The match will be shown on free-to-air Spanish TV channel Gol). UD Almeria and Málaga CF are to play an exciting Andalusian derby at the La Rosaleda Stadium. After having added only two points in their last three competition commitments (draws with AD Alcorcón and CD Leganés, and defeat in Ponferrada), Almeria need to pick up the three points in order not to move further down from the automatic promotion positions.

With this prime purpose, the Almeria team visit La Rosaleda, a hard stadium to win as they will meet intense rivals with good tactics who will make it very difficult for their neighbours.

Both contenders from the Spain’s South Coast have barely had time to prepare themselves for the battle due to the short time given for post-match recovery between fixtures.

José Gomes conducted two training sessions with the same players as the previous day. All of the footballers are available for selection whereas Cuenca and Ramazani are still away on international duty with La Rojita and Belgium U21s, respectively.

The Almería travelling squad are hitting the road this Tuesday with Malaga city as a destination. They will set out on a journey early in the morning once the antigen tests are performed complying with LaLiga protocol.
