Almería play against Betis on Wednesday in Algeciras

The friendly encounter will be played at the Nuevo Mirador Stadium in front of a reduced capacity crowd (kick-off 7pm Spain Time)

UD Almería have now completed their pre-season match schedule following confirmation of another friendly against top-flight Club Real Betis Balompié.  The pre-season test takes place next Wednesday, 4th August at the Nuevo Mirador Stadium from the Cadiz-based town of Algeciras (kick-off 7pm Spain Time).

The friendly game will be a real test for the Rojiblancos who will have to get ready to face the might of the top-tier rivals from Seville. The match will be played in front of a reduced capacity crowd due to the pandemic restrictions. The organisers of the match report on ticket sales next week.

There will be 4 matches that UD Almería will play during their pre-season training camp in Benahavís. The Indalicos take on Málaga CF and Cádiz CF on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, at the Marbella Football Center. The team will be heading to Algeciras (80 km) to play top-flight Real Betis on Wednesday, 4th August and four days later, the Rojiblancos will be facing their ‘B’ team Betis Deportivo Balompie at the Marbella Football Center (Sunday, 8th August/ kick-off 7pm Spain Time). After this match, UD Almeria will be returning to Almeria city. 

Previously, UD Almería played versus SL Benfica, Club Atletico Pulpileño and Águilas FC, so the Rojiblancos will have played a total of 7 friendlies before the championship kicks off.
