Almeria look to future with real gem Brian Rodríguez …last-minute deal on deadline day!

The 20-year-old Uruguay international winger moves on loan from Los Angeles CF with an option to buy

UD Almeria have made their last-minute move for the winter transfer window, having reached an agreement to sign 20-year-old winger Brian Rodríguez on loan from Los Angeles CF. Despite his young age, he is a Uruguay regular international considered as one of the top-class players of Uruguayan football.

He played along with Darwin Núñez at the Montevideo-based club CA Peñarol, from whom he made a departure for the United States to sign for Los Angeles CF, a club that spent huge swathes of cash on the talented player born in the Uruguayan town of Tranqueras. UD Almería have reached an agreement to seal his loan move with an option to buy at the end of this season.

Right-winger Brian Rodriguez is 1,75 metres tall and his top qualities are technical ability, speed and game awareness. He has added countless assists to his name over the seasons and besides, the Uruguayan has certainly been one of the most sought-after players in Europe.

UD Almeria has now completed its winter transfer window names list. Ivanildo Fernandez, Guilherme Schettine and Brian Rodríguez are the three latest signings made by the club, while Appiah has headed out to CD Lugo on loan and Pablo Mendes has parted ways with the Rojiblancos.
