Almería head back home after league outing in Castellón

On Thursday, training at 12 noon to focus on Sunday's game on home turf against Girona

Almería headed back home from their latest league outing visiting the opponents’ fold Nuevo Estadio Castalia in Castellon and this Thursday, the footballers will resume training to focus on the imminent match that on Sunday, at 9 p.m Spain Time, will see both teams Girona FC and UD Almeria battling it out at Juegos Mediterraneos

The Almeria first-team made the round trip on the same day. The charter flight was actually short, approximately 50 minutes, and the kick-off time set for 7,00 p.m. (Spain Time) allowed the team to land in Almeria on time before the airport closing time. UD Almería arrived shortly before noon at their hotel, where they had a chill after having lunch until the Rojiblancos headed to Nou Estadi Castàlia.

The game against Castellón is now history and in a few days, Almeria will be hosting Girona at the Mediterraneo. As mentioned above, this Thursday, around 11.30 a.m., the squad will be training at their usual base, the Anexo training ground, where the players will exercise again on Friday and Saturday at 9.45 a.m. The first footie practice will consist of an active recovery and the other two specific ones will be based on preparations for the next league fixture.
