Almeria go through their paces as the coaching team looked on

The Rojiblancos prepare with intensity for Saturday's game against CD Leganés

Almería went through their paces ahead of Saturday’s game against CD Leganes at the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium (kick-off 6:15 p.m. Spain Time). The Matchday 31 fixture will be the first of the three upcoming league tests in just six days, however the Rojiblancos only think about the imminent match on home soil. The footballers performed a really intense training session based on strategy and tactics.

Once the squad finished working on their fitness, the players were split in two groups before getting involved into match scenarios to master defensive and offensive skills. Next, the footballers practised some tactical drills to improve their ability to finish off under the watch of head coach José Gomes, who gave instructions with the aim of overcoming next Saturday’s direct rivals in the race for promotion to the top tier. We must not forget that in-form CD Leganés are three points below Almería, and also the goal average also will be of the utmost importance at the end of the championship.

The Portuguese gaffer has all his troops available for selection with the exception of Cuenca and Ramazani who, as it has been already reported, are on international duty with Spain U21 and Belgium U21, respectively.
