Almería get their 4-day training started ahead of Mirandés
The Rojiblancos exercise at the Anexo. Fernando, who missed the game in Vallecas, trains on the sidelines. Olivera joins duty
Almería started their 4-day training until Saturday, when the team will take on CD Mirandés at 4:15 p.m. CET at the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium. It will be a match of utmost importance for the Rojiblancos as the players are determined to achieve their third back-to-back victory in the championship after the last two away wins in Sabadell and Vallecas.
The Rojiblancos took to the Anexo training ground in a football active recovery practice for the starters against Rayo Vallecano last weekend while the rest of the squad trained more intensively. As reported previously, the internationals Makaridze, Maraš and Jorge Cuenca are away on international duty. But they were not the only players who missed training: Juan Villar is in quarantine and keeper Fernando, who was also out of action in Vallecas, is still recovering from a muscle discomfort. The goalkeeper exercised on the sidelines and he will join his team-mates on Wednesday.
On the other hand, right-winger Olivera joined duty once he sorted out his visa in his home country, Uruguay. Peybernes, who served one-game suspension, had to come off the training base after feeling a muscle discomfort.
This Wednesday, a new training sesh has been scheduled for 9.45 a.m. at the Anexo training pitch next to the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium, where the Rojiblancos will meet up again on Thursday and Friday.
