Almeria Genuine players in the limelight at Juegos Mediterraneos

The UD Almeria Genuine players were in the limelight at the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium, where they were presented before their imminent participation in the Liga Genuine Santander. The squad members walked onto the pitch during half-time during the UD Almería vs Burgos CF match and were given a standing ovation by the UD Almeria fans.
The Almeria Genuine team are participating in the tournament organised by LaLiga for sportspeople with intellectual disabilities next weekend. The sporting venue will be Tarragona and Mallorca, Málaga and Cádiz will be the Rojiblancos’ rivals. Last year the event was called off due to the Covid-19 pandemic. UD Almería Genuine have participated every season since the Foundation was created.
