Almeria forget about leadership and fully focus on work

Almeria seek to get away from everything that has nothing to do with their day-to-day work and this Wednesday are getting back into training in the Anexo training ground focusing on different aspects of the game that the players should improve; the rojiblancos are trying to ignore any distractions and are fully focused on the team’s efficiency and productivity.

The side took part in a training session that raised tactical awareness of the ability to concentrate better to boost productivity. José María Gutiérrez has continually insisted on the need to improve the game with respect to the last matches. Today’s training session went on for two hours.

Today’s training basically involved defensive and offensive strategies and football tactical skills. The players have repeated some drills so as to improve ball control and pressure under the instructions of José María Gutiérrez. The head coach wants his side to put all these concepts and drills into practice against their next opponents, Elche. Some players, Petrovic, Corpas and De la Hoz were out of action, whereas Juan Ibiza and Coric are slowly increasing their training intensity. 

Almeria will continue to prepare their upcoming difficult game against Elche this Thursday at 10.30 a.m.
