Almeria blasting the goal in the penultimate training!

Thursday’s training focused on shooting target practice. After the last preparation, the squad will set out on a journey to Cádiz on Friday

Almeria are still the team who scored the most goals in the Second Division and want to hold on to their offensive potential to achieve again a victory against Cádiz CF; Thursday’s training took place behind closed doors. The team led by José María Gutiérrez focused fully on tactical and effective finishing drills. The Madrid-born head coach tested players in a match simulation training session ahead of the game at Ramón de Carranza. Afterwards, he conducted finishing drills to enhance the squad’s shooting accuracy on Saturday.

David Costas and Darwin Núñez trained with their team-mates and the highlight of the day was the presence of Lluís Tarres, a goalkeeper from U-18 UD Almeria, joining the first team. The last preparation of the week will be held behind closed doors at the Juegos Mediterraneos. In the afternoon, the rojiblancos will set out on a journey to Cádiz; the team will travel on a regular flight to Seville and then continue their journey to Cádiz by road.
