Almería back out on the training pitch

Guilherme Schettine joined the group and Samú trained alone. This Tuesday, practice at the Anexo and in the Juegos Mediterraneos stadium

UD Almería were back out on the training pitch after having Saturday and Sunday off following their all-important triumph in Tenerife. The training session was conducted at the Anexo training ground with the presence of Guilheme Schettine and Samú Costa, although the Portuguese was doing specific exercises.

Both above-mentioned players were out of action in Tenerife; the striker hurt his back in the training session last week, while the midfielder had some muscular discomfort in the back of his right thigh that also made him miss the game against Real Oviedo on the previous matchday.

Guilherme Schettine exercised as usual, while Samú did so outside the squad working on sport-specific fitness. The Portuguese is making progress in his recovery is and everything will depend on how he is doing in the next few days.

UD Almería are now setting their sights on winning the next championship match against Albacete Balompie on Saturday at the Juegos Mediterráneos. The La Mancha-based side are the bottom team, but after their win over SD Ponferradina, they still have chances to guarantee safety and therefore, they go all out for a win in Almeria.

This Tuesday, the Rojiblancos will be training at the Anexo training pitch and also in the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium.
