Almeria ‘B’ will give their all to clinch first victory of season

Due to space limitations in the Anexo stands, only authorised personnel from both teams will be able to attend the first home game.

The UD Almería ‘B’ boys face the second fixture of the Tercera Division RFEF competition (Group IX). They will give their all to clinch their first victory after last weekend’s draw with Huétor Tájar. The Academy products are going into their first battle at home with CD Alhaurino as rivals this Sunday (kick-off 12 noon).

Because the Anexo Juegos Mediterraneos has space limitations when it comes to complying with the rules set by the health authorities to keep at least 1,5m safe distance within the 60% capacity, only people authorised by both teams will be able to attend the game. Non-starters, staff, media, local managers, companions of the visiting team and other personnel necessary for the organisation of the match must occupy a seat in the stands and therefore, all of them are part of the percentage that has been allowed. This makes it impossible for UD Almería to grant access to supporters. In relation to this situation, the Club expects a relaxation of measures in the near future so that the fans can cheer on the Academy team.

Óscar Fernández will not be able to count on Jean Marco for the game since he must serve a one-game suspension following his dismissal against Huétor Tájar. However, the head coach will not announce the squad list in advance. All available squad members have been called up to the match, including some of those who train along with the first team and who may be part of the Almeria ‘B’ starting XI. The contenders will be known when the team pass cards are delivered to the match official.

The Almeria ‘B’ lads are eager to clinch their first victory of this 2021/22 campaign hosting Alhaurino, who won 4-1 in their opening game within group IX (Tercera Division RFEF).
