Almeria ‘B’ visit Vélez on Wednesday before hosting El Palo on Sunday

The home match will be played at the Anexo pitch as the UD Almeria first-team will be playing host to Espanyol at the ‘Mediterraneo’ on Monday

After the 1-1 draw with neighbours Antequera, the UD Almería second-team will face a busy week in the mini-league for promotion to Segunda Division RFEF that will lead the Academy prospects to visit Velez next Wednesday (kick-off 6,00 p.m. CEST) before hosting El Palo on Sunday. On this occasion, the homegrown players will play as a home team at the Anexo pitch since the UD Almeria first-team will be playing host to Espanyol at the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium on Monday.

Given that the game with the Malagueños will not be played on the main pitch, the Club will study together with the Sports Council the possibility of fans attending the sporting event. In this sense, the protocol establishes that the substitutes must sit on the stands, a rule that lessens the chance that fans and supporters may attend due to the reduced stands capacity.

Almería ‘B’ remain fourth in the table standings with a club coefficient of 1,61, after collecting a point against Antequera. Velez are the current leaders (2,00) while Atlético Mancha Real remain in automatic promotion (1,85). Almeria’s adversaries in the first match are in the third position (1,63) and Torredonjimeno (1,61) and El Palo (1,47) are behind the Indalicos.
