Almeria ‘B’ visit Loja to continue their league promotion push

The Almería youth team, who have played one less game, seek victory to seal passage to the second half of the competition

The UD Almería youth squad face a new challenging match against Loja within group IX ‘A’ in Tercera Division at the Medina Lauxa ground on Sunday (kick-off 12 p.m. CET).

Victory belongs to those who believe in it the most and the Rojiblancos are true believers in hard work during the fight to play the second half of the competition and keep their promotion to Segunda Division ‘B’ dream alive. The fact is that the Academy side have a match to be rearranged against direct rivals Mancha Real. Needless to say, the players need to grab the maximum number of points possible to return to one of the three places at the top, considering that those points count for the next half of the season.

UD Almería ‘B’ have been beavering away during the week in order to address the issues that caused the loss to Huétor Tájar. Eight-placed Loja are embroiled in a relegation battle. However, the Indálicos do no take anything for granted as the Tercera Division competition has already proven to be highly competitive.

Fernando Santos ‘Nandinho’ will not announce the squad list in advance, but the coach will be able to count on Vertiz for this game following his one-game suspension completed and therefore, the Portuguese has the usual squad available for selection.
