Almeria ‘B’ to play host to Marbella FC on Francisco Pomedio pitch in Huércal de Almería

UD Almería ‘B’ are taking on direct rivals in the race for promotion to Segunda Division RFEF this Wednesday (kick-off 7pm CET). This time, the UDA Academy Rojiblancos will be playing host to Marbella FC on the Francisco Pomedio pitch located in the neighbouring town of Huércal de Almería as there is no possibility of playing on the Anexo Juegos Mediterraneos ground this Wednesday. 

Everybody is bubbling with sheer excitement of playing this rearranged game given the positions of the two sides in the table. The boys from Marbella will go into the league appointment 2 points ahead of the hosts within the VIP zone to enter the play-offs, what means that Almería ‘B’ would overtake the visitors in the event of a victory on the one hand, and also would beat them on goal average due to the added circumstance that Óscar Fernández's team defeated them in the match from the first half of the competition.

In addition, the youthful Indalicos are eager to win again to forget the defeat suffered in their visit to Torredonjimeno, where, in essence, Almeria ‘B’ had a greater presence in the attacking third, yet they lacked pinpoint precision towards the goal and a the great effectiveness of the adversaries made them experience a 3-0 loss.

Óscar Fernández will not announce the squad list yet even though all the squad members are available for selection given that there are no mid-week LaLiga SmartBank fixtures.

The clash is taking place on the Francisco Pomedio pitch located in the neighbouring towe of Huércal de Almería. The UD Almería Academy would like to express their deep sense of gratitude to Agrupación Deportiva Huércal for letting them play the game on their ground.

The UD Almería supporters will be able to attend the game until the total capacity of the venue is reached. They must wear a face mask at all times and remember that smoking, eating and drinking, except water, is prohibited while in the stands.
