Almeria B set to train at CDM ‘Tito Pedro’ as ‘Vega de Acá’ pitch needs a re-turf

The sports complex becomes the homegrown players’ new training base for about a month

The UD Almería ‘B’ team returned to activity at the sports complex CDM 'Tito Pedro', which will be the training scene of the youth squad for approximately a month, since the ‘Vega de Acá’ training pitch requires resurfacing.

The Rojiblancos’ footie practice began with a pep talk by coach Fernando Santos. Soon after, the youngsters from the Almeria Academy team were ready to prepare tactical drills and work on their fitness ahead of the next league derby against Polideportivo Almeria at ‘Ciudad Deportiva de Los Ángeles’ sports ground. This meeting’s kick-off has been set for 12:00 noon on Sunday.

Almería ‘B’, who were defeated on their last visit to Maracena, now face the challenge of rediscovering their best scoring ability so as to obtain the first victory of this year’s championship within group IX ‘A’ competing in Tercera Division. Thus, as aforementioned, the sports pitch ‘Tito Pedro’ will be the new turf in which Almeria ‘B’ will be concentrating on their fitness and football skills for the next few weeks until the Vega de Acá’s lawn is being replaced and becomes available again.
