Almería ‘B’ say goodbye to 2021 with a clash against leaders
The ‘B’ team Rojiblancos host Juventud Torremolinos CF this Sunday at the Anexo Juegos Mediterraneos (KO 12 noon Spain Time)
UD Almería ‘B’ will close out 2021 facing strong leaders Juventud Torrremolinos CF. It will undoubtedly be a highly demanding match considering that the leaders have not yet lost in the 14 matches played, and therefore, the young Rojiblancos will face the challenge of being the only team to beat the Malagueños.
A victory seems necessary since the differences in the standings are very small. That is why the Indálicos team do not want to get far away from the top of the table to hunt down this Sunday’s rivals.
Head coach Óscar Fernández’s boys would like to forget about the hard defeat against Atlético Porcuna in the last stages of the match. The Indalicos came back from 2-0 down to draw thanks to a superb brace from Carlos Gilbert. Almería ‘B’ created big chances, but the lads from Jaen scored in injury time.
The head coach will not reveal the squad list yet since the fact that the UD Almeria first team are playing the day after in Lugo (Monday, 20th December) allows all the youth team players to be available for selection.
