Almeria ‘B’ host Intergym Melilla at 'Tito Pedro' on Saturday

The game will be played at midday and 200 season-ticket holders will be granted access by showing their season cards

The UD Almería ‘B’ team are utterly determined to keep the positive vibes after pulling off an impressive comeback staged in Marbella. On this occasion, the Academy products are hosting Intergym Melilla at the Pedro Pérez Sports Complex (Tito Pedro) this Saturday (kick-off 12 noon) as the Anexo pitch continues to be reseeded. A total of 200 supporters will be able to cheer on the young players from the stands after the Covid-19 measures have been relaxed and the venue is set to return to full capacity. On the contrary, there will be no single-game tickets to the general public on sale, given the characteristics of the place where the match is to be played.

Those fans who would like to attend the game must wear face masks and remain seated at all times. In addition, smoking, food and beverages are not allowed except for 50cl bottles of water without caps brought from home. The instructions given by UD Almería employees must be followed at all times. The 200 UD Almería season-ticket holders will only have to show their season cards to occupy their seats in the stands to support Óscar Fernández’s side, who will go into the game placed second in the Tercera Division RFEF (Group IX) standings.

The Almería ‘B’ head coach will not reveal the squad list in advance. The fact that the UD Almeria first team are not playing until Monday means that some Almeria ‘B’ players who train daily along with the LaLiga SmartBank outfit may take part in the ‘B’ team’s fixture.

Supporters at Academy team’s matches

Following the criteria of UD Almeria ‘B’ and as a result of the latest agreements of the health authorities, the home matches that the UD Almeria Academy sides are to play at the Los Angeles Sports Complex may host supporters as long as the total number of spectators allowed is not exceeded. They will only have to show their season cards on entry.
