Almeria ‘B’ back to competition mode aiming to strengthen positive team dynamics

The Academy players host Huétor Vega on Sunday for a 12 noon kick-off. The Anexo ground is now ready with a brand-new turf

After a blank Matchweek, Almeria ‘B’ are back to competition mode with the firm intention of strengthening the positive team dynamics. Óscar Fernández’s boys clinched a well-deserved victory over tough adversaries Torreperogil on the last Matchday.

The Academy products were playing some league games at the Pedro Pérez (Tito Pedro) Sports Complex, but Huétor Vega will be the first adversaries that the youngsters will have to take on at the brand-new Anexo Juegos Mediterraneos turf. This means that more UD Almeria season-ticket holders can demonstrate their support in person as there is more capacity. A total of 738 fans have the possibility to attend the game by simply showing their season cards at the gate until the stands are filled to capacity.

Óscar Fernández will not announce the squad list in advance. Thanks to last blank Matchweek some ‘B’ team footballers who were sidelined such as Kevin Bautista have now ensured a full recovery and may take part in the encounter. As a result, the head coach has the entire squad up for grabs on Sunday.
