Almeria B are still seeking that elusive victory after three match days failing to win

Almeria B host El Palo at the Anexo football ground this Friday (12 noon) ... and play a new League match in Torreperogil on Sunday (6.30 p.m.)

Almeria B face a demanding and hectic weekend. For starters, El Palo are visiting the Anexo football ground this Friday at 12 noon, whereas two days later, the Almeria homegrown players will travel to Torreperogil so as to continue the championship within group IX of the Third Division. CD Torreperogil and Almeria B are two teams evenly-matched in the race, which is in full swing, for automatic promotion and play-off places.

The Almeria youth academy players face the game in contention for victory on Andalusia Day (28th February) in order to fulfil their main objective and be back to winning ways. It has been three consecutive match weeks failing to win. Nandinho's men slip into fifth position dropping out of the automatic promotion places with loss to Huétor Vega last week.

With that intention to be on a winning streak that saw the team record fifteen matchdays without being defeated, the Almeria B team will have to play against one of the most experienced teams in the category, who achieved four away wins and three away draws. The Malagueños are battleing it out to secure a place in the playoffs.
