Almeria aim to keep rolling on with what they are doing with the ball and embrace another challenge at home

After that winning feeling was back at home, the Rojiblancos are now looking for the second consecutive victory at Juegos Mediterraneaneos

Almería embrace another challenge at home ahead after breaking their hoodoo by defeating Sporting last Wednesday. Now it is time to achieve a second consecutive home victory against Tenerife. Since the championship resumed, the Rojiblancos lost the two matches they played at Juegos Mediterráneos: 0-1 against Las Palmas and 0-1 against Alcorcón.

Five matchdays remain to finish the SmartBank League, so that Almería still have three games to play on home turf, since after hosting Tenerife, they will also have to take on Rayo Vallecano and Málaga at Mediterraneo. The Almeria team enjoy a great away form (7 of 9 points) and they will travel to Girona and Ponferradina before the season comes to an end.

Almería score as many points on their travels as at home. Despite being one of the top scorers and, at the same time, one of those that least concede at home, they have not made the most of these results. Good proof of this is that after the bottom teams, Racing de Santander and Extremadura, in addition to Albacete and Alcorcón, the Almería’s players are the fifth with the most defeats at home (6). Almería cannot wait to change their dynamic in this final stretch of the league. In fact, they begun to do so at Mediterraneo. The stadium is turning into a fortress without spectators in the stands for adversaries. It's the way it is.
