The club will distribute 900,000 nitrile gloves, 41,000 face masks and 7,000 waterproof surgical gowns

UD Almería acquired personal protective equipment taking a positive stance towards their contribution in the coronavirus battle initiative. After purchasing ten modular multi-parameter monitors for ICU, with pulse oximetry, destined for hospitals in the capital and the province of Almeria, the club will now distribute 900,000 nitrile gloves, 41,000 face masks (30,000 FFP2 and 11,000 triple-layer) and 7,000 waterproof surgical gowns.

All this equipment will be destined for healthcare workers and essential service personnel of hospitals and nursing homes, and employees from Almeria City Council and Diputacion de Almeria (Provincial Government).

This will be the second delivery of material and equipment worth one million euros with the donation of 1,200,000 euros made by the president and owner of the club, Turki Al-Sheikh, to aid Almeria’s fight against coronavirus. The charitable donation is being managed by UDA Foundation and the City Council of our city.
