UD Almería left-back Álex Centelles has rejoined the group after shaking off his ankle injury. The Valencian has been on the treatment table for two months and he has commented the following to the Club's official media: 'My right ankle feels right. The group is very happy to see me back in training.'
Centelles injured his ankle before the game against Sevilla FC just when he was serving a one-game suspension after being sent off in Elche: 'that's what I call having a semana negra [a hell of a week]; I sustained an unfortunate minor injury when tackling a team-mate in a warm-up training...at that moment it seemed something serious but luckily I've fully recovered.' His deepest desire at the minute is to compete and be available for selection to the head coach: 'Akieme is doing great during games and at a great level, I'm now going to get back into a healthy competition with him as we've been maintaining for several years.'
The 23-year-old Rojiblanco also spoke about the heavy defeat suffered on the last Matchday against Villarreal FC: 'We were one minute away from getting a very valuable point. The team is doing better and better as weeks pass by with many players making their Primera Division debuts. We have to keep on the right track.'
