Alberto Lasarte will be at the helm of UD Almería 'B' next season

The experienced head coach, who will complete his 6th season at the Club's Youth Academy, takes on the challenge of coaching the 'B' team after his scintillating campaign in charge of the Under-19s 'A'

Alberto Lasarte will be the new head coach of UD Almería 'B' for the next 2023/24 season in which the youthful Rojiblancos will return to compete in the Group IX of the Tercera RFEF. This has been agreed by the Club's sports department, which fully trusts the Jaén-born coach for his brilliant career in the UDA Youth Academy.

The 2023/24 camping will be Alberto Lasarte's 6th in the Club, where he arrived from Linares, as he makes the leap from UD Almeria U19s 'A' to the 'B' team. On his previous five seasons, he has done a great job. He has led the Under-16s, inspired UD Almería U19 'B' to lift the Liga Nacional title, recorded a scintillating campaign in the driving seat of UD Almería 'A', who were Spanish Cup U19 runners-up to Real Madrid CF U19, and were also close to topping the Group IV table within the Division de Honor Nacional tier.

Alberto Lasarte, who was born in Jaén city 42 years ago, has experience in the Segunda 'B' tier, where he coached Linares, as well as in Tercera when he trained Villacarrillo, before moving to UD Almería, where he has also excelled in scouting and sports planning, as much as he did at the Real Jaén youth academy.
